Grief is not only emotional. It affects your body, your relationship, clarity of thought, energy, and the ability to feel steady in everyday life. In workplaces, this often shows up as burnout, compassion fatigue, reduced focus, absenteeism, and quiet disengagement, even among capable and dedicated people. Many people are told to be strong or give it time, yet continue to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck long after the loss.
Whether your grief is recent or long standing, visible or private, involving your loss of a loved one, health, identity, life that changed unexpectedly, or the emotional impact experienced within teams, Joyful Riches Beyond Grief is your place to be heard, supported, and guided at a pace that feels safe for you.
Even if you have been carrying your grief for years, there is help. And because there is help, there is hope.
How You Can Receive Help Here
My experience as a veterinarian oncologist alongside being a grief and trauma coach, helps me understand how grief affects people beyond emotions. This allows me to support you through multimodal tools and approach, drawing from conversation, reflection, and optional body based practices such as Dance Away Sadness. Knowing that everyone is unique, all support is tailored to your specific needs and preferences.
Nothing here is forced. Everything is guided with care, choice, and respect for your readiness. The goal is steadiness, clarity, and the ability to move forward in ways that feel true and safe for you.
With kind love,
Dr. Birgitte Tan
